On July 16, 2024, the IHBA proudly hosted a Meet and Greet with State Senator Willie Preston and State Representative Abdelnasser Rashid. Held at a local restaurant in Bridgeview, IL, the event was a fantastic opportunity for community members to connect with their local leaders.

Behind the scenes, the officers and members of the IHBA Board are crafting a new membership dues structure to better serve our diverse group. From retailers to manufacturers, different tiers are being meticulously designed to offer the best value. Proposals have circulated among the board for feedback, and we’re gearing up for a final discussion to solidify the framework. This is an exciting step towards more structured and inclusive membership benefits!
Additionally, we’ve secured a corporate phone number, updated our IHBA logo, and distributed new business cards. These steps are part of our broader commitment to enhancing our professional image and presenting a polished, unified front.
